Dayspring is a word that means "sunrise; the rising of the sun, daylight or dawn." The word brings to mind new beginnings, a new day, a fresh start. That word also brings to mind our new church.
God is doing something new in Burlington, North Carolina as we begin DaySpring Baptist Church. We are off to a new beginning, a new day, a fresh start. Jesus Christ is the Dayspring! He is the Rising Sun of Righteousness. Jesus brought with Him a new day when He came to earth to save us from our sins, to cast out the darkness, and to come live in our hearts and fill us with His Eternal Light.
At DaySpring Baptist Church Our Mission is to see lives transformed through the Light of Jesus Christ as we are reaching, teaching, and loving in His name.
Our Vision is to fulfill our Mission by being a true New Testament Church…Glorifying God, Abiding in Christ, Yielding to the power of the Holy Spirit, United together as the family of God, living a life of Prayer, Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Evangelism, and Stewardship.
We preach and teach the Word of God, the Bible. We have small group Bible studies for all ages. We have a close loving fellowship. We want to invite you to come and worship with us. Our prayer is that the Love of Jesus will shine through everything you experience at DaySpring Baptist Church.
We are part of the Southern Baptist Convention.
